First of all, we would like to say that we are very happy with every euro we receive. Nevertheless, we often get the question of entrepreneurs what a reasonable donation amount is.
There is an entrepreneur who donates € 1 per € 1,000 realized turnover every month, with this underlying idea that we would like to share:
I won't notice if I have € 1.000 or € 999 turnover; I do know that by donating that euro I feel like a richer person, because I keep an adult in Namibia one day alive for every euro. Everyone happy: wonderful!
I’m already looking forward to the end of the year to realise, for example, that I have kept 100 people in Namibia alive one day, with a turnover of € 100,000; that must be an indescribable feeling.

Ik kijk nu al uit naar het einde van het jaar om me bij een omzet van bijvoorbeeld € 100.000 te realiseren dat ik 100 mensen in Namibië een dag in leven heb gehouden; dat moet een onbeschrijfelijk gevoel zijn.
